    Childhood Obesity Campaign

The Georgia Children’s Health Alliance’s new campaign, to stop childhood obesity is under question for what some deem as harsh advertisement. Some people feel the ads go to far with images of children staring grimly into the camera with quotations that read, “Chubby kids may not outlive their parents,” or “Big bones didn’t make me this way. Big meals did.” Do you feel these ads went to far?  Georgia has the second highest rate in childhood obesity per Stop Childhood Obesity.com. Do parents need reminders like this to help their parenting, when it comes to feeding their children?  Do you think these ads can work?   Please join the conversation; we would love to hear your opinion.
