Tonight is the biggest night in Hollywood and in our house. We are huge fans of the award shows and since we can not be in Hollywood or attend the award show, we create our own fun.
It started last week when Oscar made his debut in Dallas on the Oscar Roadtrip. The event was hosted by the USA film festival and the Angelika Film Center. My husband is the GM for the film center, so he was able to get up close and personal with the golden statue. The Oscar road trip is a 3 week cross country tour letting regular people be star for one unforgettable moment. Yes, the statue is authentic and is statue number 3111 that will be handed out during the prestigious award show tonight!
I then contacted our area sweet treat maker and had her construct our own little statue cookies to munch on during the ceremony.
