    Weigh In Wednesday #WeightWatchers

    This weeks Weight Watchers weigh in wasn’t as good as I would have liked, however, I have to remember that I was on vacation for 10 days and I was out of my normal routine. I knew I was doing ok but still there is always that little glimpse of doubt in the back of your mind. We walked every where, we didn’t snack as much as we normally would have, and we made a point to make our own food {we rented a house} for dinners, with the exception of one nice dinner out.

    The time had come for me to get on the scale. I was prepared for a gain. And I gained. I gained 1.4 pounds. I was not happy about it, but all things considered, I was ok. Now comes the hard work again. I have to get that and then some off this next week because I am on a mission to lose 10 pounds and do it within the next two weeks. I have about 3.5 more pounds to get to my goal, so I am going to just push forward, eat right, journal, and get in some extra exercise. My leader made a very good statement that really left me with a lightbulb moment. She said, “You can make excuses or make it happen”, and that is so true. If I make excuses, nothing will happen. If I make it happen, I’ll reach my goals. It’s time to MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

    No time to make the normal excuses, “my husband is laid off…so I can’t exercise the way I want to”, or “I’m too stressed and frustrated to exercise”, or “I am so tired, I can’t move”, or “I can’t do it”, the fact of the matter is, I can do it. If I am stressed, go for a walk. If I do want to work out, send hubby on an errand {haha preferably the grocery store where he will get lost in the aisles for a while}, or if I am tired, get up and move during commercials….just keep moving! While I am cooking, I could be doing calf raises! There are so many options that I can work with if I am just a little bit creative!

    So, for me, it’s back to work. While I am sitting here typing this, I am pulling my belly button in toward the back of my chair and holding it for as long as I can, lol. Anything is better than nothing! 🙂
