Celebrate Grandparents Day with Edible Arrangements

    Send sweet treats!

Grandparents Day is this Sunday, September 7, 2014, and if you aren’t sure what to do to celebrate the joy and love that your Grandparents provide you with or your children with, how about giving them the gift of an Edible Arrangement? I know from experience that sometimes its really hard to find gifts for the grandparents in your life and with everyone trying to take it one step closer to healthier living, Edible Arrangements are the perfect, GO-TO gift that will be deliciously remembered long after the gift itself is gone.

Today I received an Edible Arrangement to experience and from the moment it arrived at my door, my family has loved EVERY piece of fruit provided! All of us said our  “ooh’s and ahh’s” until it was almost gone! I don’t think I’ve ever seen my children eat fruit as fast as they did. I think it was because it was made so beautifully and each piece of fruit was on a little stick that they had to pull out and eat while holding it. It was a unique experience, to say the least. When I shared the information with my mom {who obviously is my children’s grandma, or as we call her, Meme}, she thought that receiving one would be a GREAT idea! She said “I’d rather have fresh fruit instead of flowers”, well guess what Meme, I’m sending you one! Shhh, I hope she isn’t reading this!

Take a look at how it arrived.  Doesn’t it just LOOK delicious?  It’s ok, I know you want to bite that cantaloupe ball right off the pineapple flower and dig your teeth into that chocolate covered strawberry!!

It really doesn’t get any better than this…

Edible Arrangements offers free pickup at a store near you, same day free delivery, and are hand delivered in a refrigerated van. My husband was surprised at how cold the fruit was when it arrived.  He thought it was shipped in one of those styrofoam boxes, and I said…”NO, they hand delivered it right to the door!”   You can get boxed dipped fruit {it looks SO YUMMY!!!} and that starts at $29 or you can go for the arrangements that start at $35.  They have so many cute designs and options {even for the kiddos in your life}, you really need to just visit www.ediblearrangements.com and take a peek!

So, if you are unsure what to get Grandma & Grandpa for National Grandparents Day, my top recommendation would definitely be a gift from Edible Arrangements!

Have you ever received or purchased an Edible Arrangement?  How was it?

    1. My mom is in a rehab facility for a broken hip, and is bemoaning the lack of access to fresh fruit. This is perfect, because she can store the leftovers in her mini-fridge. Why didn’t I think of this before?
