The weather is getting warmer, birds are chirping, and the sounds of spring are upon us. Mother’s Day is coming and what better way to show that special mom in your life that you care, then a wonderful brunch or tea.
I have searched some wonderful party sites, planners, and some of my own ideas and found some wonderful tips, tricks, and ideas to host your own fabulous Mother’s Day Brunch.
Set up –
A brunch is usually after breakfast but before lunch. 10:30am is usually a good time to start. Send out invites, evites or a phone call is okay, a few weeks prior. An invite is not needed, but could add a little something extra to your brunch. Decide inside or out. Depending on weather and temperature. Plan your guest list. If its just to celebrate your mom only, then preparation for the party should be simple. Find out your moms favorite foods, if you don’t already know them. Doughnuts, pastries, bagels, toast, fruits, and juices are perfect. If you are doing a tea, mini tea sandwiches, croissant rolls, meats and cheeses and of course tea.

Decorations –
You don’t have to go overboard on décor, but a little effort goes a long way. A nice tablecloth, cloth or fabric napkins, some flowers, and a few candles will go a long way. If outside, use a large umbrella in an open area over a table or if in a covered area hang lanterns or tissue poms from the covering.
