New Years Eve with the Kiddos

Get your kiddos involved today let them help with dinner. Try making fun easy foods such as paninis let the kids pick their favorite cold cuts.  We love Applegate Farms Pepperoni, Mozzarella Cheese (in my case rice cheese), tomatoes, or pesto, and for the adults some pepperoncini peppers.  After your child assembles his or her panini brush olive oil on the sandwich and cook in panini maker, if you don’t have a panini maker try waffle iron, or cook in a pan with a heavy pan on top of the sandwich. Yummy goodness! Cut in half or squares for easy finger foods to enjoy a…..

Wii Party!  Keep kids moving– sitting around can get boring for kids so try fun games such as Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.  This game is fun and adults can join in on the competition, this game can be played with 4 remotes which is great for families.  Got a party of five, who ever has the lowest score has to give up the remote : )  Just Dance 3 is another fun game that will get everyone moving… Party Rock! Okay I have a 9 year old daughter and Just Dance is everything…

Not into the Wii?  How about some crafting make countdown clocks with paper plates and foam numbers or try  making a family time capsule.  Don’t forget to make party hats!  Need some last minute decor have the kids make New Year’s Eve paper chains.

Lastly toast this New Year with sparkling juice and sing Auld Lang Syne as loud as you can..
