Some high schools are implementing dress codes for prom this year and many teens are not happy about that. Remember prom {insert memory bubble}, half the excitement was getting The Dress. Now the dress has some guidelines and this isn’t making teens happy that schools have the power to Say No to Their Dress.
I’m not gonna lie some of the dresses at my prom were downright skanky. Never seen a skanky prom dress before? Google it.. you’ll laugh and cry. My parents would never let me wear a skanky dress nor did I want to, but the dress I did wear to my prom (5 years ago {lol}) may not have been allowed in some of these schools today.
