    {Real Party} Shark Attack

We had the pleasure to help assist our assistant Aimee over at Creative Designs by Toni, in her son’s 5th birthday party over the weekend. It took several months to plan everything out, style, design, and prep for the party, but was well worth it in the end.

The colors were blue, bright green, and orange with chevron accents. Theme was Sharks and beach balls.

The cake table was decorated with an orange background made from wrapping paper, surfboard with a 5 and a shark decal, large wooden J decorated and painted to make party. As well as shark themed cake and cookies. Green beach balls hung from ceiling above.

Food was displayed with matching signs for shark themed food. Including a shark carved from a watermelon, goldfish for shark bait, and blue “ocean” water.

A coloring station inside and pinata out front gave the kids lots to do before the ‘wet’ activities began. Out back the birthday boy and his friends cooled off with a shark bite slip and slide, shark lagoon slide, and coordinating water balloons.

Personalized sand buckets filled with a water gun, custom made beach ball cookie and goodies from the pinata outside, which included pencils, tattoos, fruit snacks, etc., were awaiting each guest upon exit.

It was a fantastic party and everyone had a blast!

To create the welcome sign I used decals I created and a chalkboard sign from Pick Your Plum.
The green cups were decorated by Aimee with washi tape.
The background was created by hanging orange wrapping paper to create a backdrop.
Centerpieces were created by attaching our shark cupcake toppers to the center of pinwheels made by Aimee, glued to a stick, and placed inside square glass containers and filled with gumballs.
    Aimee carved the shark herself.
