Yes, you read that right. An easy 365 day challenge that will make you feel powerful! Seems almost impossible doesn’t it? Well I promise you, it’s not going to be that hard, at all, to join in this challenge with me. I swear, I am not looking to make myself stressed or crazed by doing this, so my only option to preventing that is to make it as easy as I possibly can. That’s why I am encouraging you to join in this amazing, feel good challenge that will ultimately last 365 days leaving you almighty and powerful! After all it is Motivating Monday and what would be a better way to stay motivated than to give you a nice, little, daily challenge?
Seems scary doesn’t it? It’s really not. Here’s the deal. You know how some people have a goal of completing a marathon, or 5k or competing in any number of competitions? Yeah, that’s not me. That said, I do want to challenge myself because I know I can do this if I really give it my all and just….try. Some people opt to start out small with small goals, but for me, if I am going to challenge myself, it’s going to be for a full 365 days. Once I start this, and share it here, there is no turning back. I have a responsibility to myself and to those of you who are reading and who will come back periodically to see my updates and progress.
So what’s the big and easy 365 Day Challenge that will make you feel powerful? Exercising. Yep, that’s it. Just exercising. My goal is to exercise a minimum of 30 minutes PER day for the next 365 days. Seems daunting but I assure you, that once I get going, there will be no stopping me! I’d love for you to join me and share the experiences in this extremely attainable goal. You don’t have to go all gung ho and get all crazy on me with your exercise. I plan on starting slow and as I increase my stamina, I’ll increase my intensity and maybe even increase my time. I do have bronchitis right now so I will be taking it super slow to start but I will not use that as an excuse to not get some form of exercise in during the day. I may start out with a little light yoga, or I may jump on the recumbent bike (but that may just depend on my breathing at the time). Either way, I will make sure that I get some type of exercise in.
What I’ll be doing is taking my before measurements and after the first 30 days I’ll update and share the progress. While I am doing this challenge, I will be also watching my food/calorie intake. I am going to try and stay within 1200 calories and will be using either the iTrack Bites app (which is similar to Weight Watchers) or the My Weight app. I’m not sure which route I want to go just yet, but I’ll be eventually using one of them to track food and monitor exercise. I will also be posting about this on Wednesday’s and Friday’s and will share some tips, videos, and recipes that will make this challenge even more successful!
