Be Yourself
Now that you’ve given it some thought, think about waking up in the morning and being so extremely grateful that you are alive and you are well. Take a moment while still in bed to think about all the privileges you have right now. Whether you are a stay at home mom raising your children, or you have the job of your dreams, or that you are a budding entrepreneur following your passion, or you are single parent making it work, or you actually dislike your job but happy that you have one, be grateful for your life because it is a privilege to be you. Be Yourself!
The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are — Joseph Campbell
When you go about your day, be grateful that you have as many privileges that you do. Be grateful that you can see all your beautiful surroundings. Be grateful that you can brush your teeth. Be grateful that you can wash your hair. Be grateful that you can make yourself breakfast. Be grateful that you can drive. Be grateful you have the means to feed your family. Be grateful that you have a couch to sit on. Be grateful that you have bed to lie your head on at night. Be grateful that you have a family that loves you. Be grateful that you have choices. Be grateful that you have opinions that can voiced. Be grateful that you are reading this because it is a privilege to be you. Be Yourself!
Why on Earth would you want to be any one else other than you? Be proud of who you really are. Be proud of what you stand for. Be proud of the person you are. Be proud that there isn’t anyone else on this planet who is just like you. Be proud of your originality. Be proud of your creativity. Be proud of your uniqueness. Be proud that you are different. Be proud that you are free. Be proud because it is a privilege to be you. Be Yourself!
So, when you out today and every follow, remember that the privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. Be Yourself!

This is SO important to remember. Sometimes I find myself on social media admiring the lifestyles of others, wishing I could be in their shoes, have the friends that they have, etc. But I have to realize that what I have in my life rocks, too. I have been extremely blessed & there’s no need for me to keep up with the Joneses…who I am & what I have is enough.
AMEN
