My kiddos, like most kiddos love Mac & Cheese, however I don’t usually make it {wah wah!}. They also know if they are getting mac & cheese they have to pick a veggie to go in it. They’re favorite is broccoli or peas in their mac. So, imagine their surprise when I said let’s make Pizza Mac & Cheese. My two youngest were home from school and we’re excited to help Mommy try a new recipe.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Annie’s Natural Mac & Cheese {organic pasta, no synthetic dyes, or artificial flavor}
- Tomato sauce we used Newman’s Own {all natural yumminess}
- Pepperoni we used Applegate {minus nitrates & antibiotics}
- Onion, bell pepper and tomatoes would work well too.
- Mozzarella cheese for topping
Cook Annie’s Mac & Cheese as recommended on package. Preheat oven to 350*. Once mac & cheese is cooked to perfection pour half in a casserole dish layer your pizza toppings and sauce. Add the other half of mac & cheese, layering with topping and sauce, the top the mac & cheese off with your mozzarella cheese.
Bake the pizza mac & cheese for 10 minutes at 350* then broil for about 2 minutes.
