It was easy, no glue needed, no hammers, screws, the only tool you need is your hands! The instructions are very simple to follow and when you are done, your little guy or girl will have fun playing with a toy that they actually helped put together. They may be able to put it together themselves! I had to help with a couple things but for the most part, my 9 year old was able to do most of the work. The quality of Buildex Systems is top notch. In fact, it is made using safe, non-toxic water based paints and natural wood! Even my husband thought the Blaze Racer was cool! {I think he wants one to make for himself!}
