Fall is here! So that means the aromas of homemade soups and crockpot dinners will be filling my home!
While browsing pintrest I found a lasagna soup recipe from http://www.afarmgirlsdabbles.com/
and decided to come up with my own. It is super easy and I put my in the crock pot!
CROCK POT LASAGNA SOUP
6cups of chicken broth
1 can whole peeled tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce
1 pound grond turkey
half of white onion chopped
a couple garlic cloves chopped
lasagna noodles
garlic salt
pepper
mozzarella cheese
parmasean cheese
1. In a skillet fully cook 1 pound of ground turkey. Season with garlic salt and pepper to taste.
2. Place 6 cups of chicken broth, chopped onion, garlic salt, pepper, 1 can of whole peeled tomatoes and half a can of tomato sauce in the crock pot on high.
3. Mash up whole tomatoes in the crock pot and mix everything up. Let it heat for about an hour then break up all of your lasagna noodles and place in the crock pot. Put the lid on and let heat up and cook the noodles for a few more hours.
4. After the noodles are cooked and the soup is hot serve it and add both of the cheeses on top!
Soo good!
