My 6 year old is obsessed with Angry Birds. Everything about them! Angry Birds original, Space, Star Wars, all of them!! We are busting at the seams with Angry Birds! LOL. We have birds, games, pigs, puzzles, sheets, even underwear. He lives and breathes Angry birds. He takes at least one bird or pig with him where ever he goes even in the bath tub. So, when I found out that the Space Center in Houston has an entire area dedicated to his passion, I just knew we had to add it to the list of things to see.
Space Center Houston is about a 4 hour drive for us from Dallas.
The Angry Birds have invaded Space Center Houston and created a place just for kids. This astronomical attraction features the Angry Birds Space Matrix, Texas’ largest indoor play structure. Inside, kids can learn the science of gravity and the physics of play while flying with their favorite Angry Birds. Outside the Space Matrix, a world of space fun and education awaits as kids can build and launch a rocket, land the shuttle and explore manned space flight.
We are planning to head down to the Space Center at the end of the summer before my son heads back to school. He is looking forward to it and counting down the days!
