Electronic gifts are crazy hot during the holidays but the good thing is, they can be used year round and enjoyed by just about everyone on your holiday list and beyond. I like to think I’m pretty tech savvy and with three teenagers in the house, I feel it’s my job to know what is hot in electronic gifts. Black Friday brings to light all the fun and inexpensive deals in electronic gifts. I am going to share a few of my favorite technology ideas, all of which I have either purchased or will be purchasing for my family this holiday season.

Let’s get started with this super awesome gift guide, shall we?
#1 – PS4
My son wants to get the PlayStation 4 so he can play Call of Duty WWII with his buddies. He’s a computer gamer so he is opting to get the PS4 just so he can play a few games with his friends. He decided to sell his old PS3 and use that money to contribute to this gift. It retails for $299 but can be found on Black Friday for $199.
#2 – Call of Duty WWII
After you purchase your PS4, you’ll need a game to play. This one is a hot one in the gaming world so I suggest picking this one up on Black Friday too because it retails for $59.99 but you can find it at Best Buy for $39.99 and I believe that’s the lowest we’ve found it to be.
#3 – PS4 DualShock Wireless Controller
Even though the PS4 comes with a controller, you’ll want to pick up a second wireless controller so that your child can play with a friend or not have to worry about being attached to the console. It’s a nice add-on and can be purchased for $39.99 instead of $59.99 this year. You might even want to play with your child so you can have your own controller now!
#4 – NBA 2K18
You might want to get another game for your PS4 so I have a couple more suggestions. My daughter loves basketball so I thought she would enjoy this game. NBA2K18 is on sale now for $29.99 and it normally retails for $59.99 so I think that’s an amazing saving and I grabbed this game up really quick!
#5 – Everybody’s Golf
Hey, but what happens when mom wants to play? You have to get yourself a game too, right? I thought this golf game looked like a lot of fun so I bought it. It could be a great family game to play on family game night! It’s something new we are starting in January. Once a month on a Sunday I have declared it to be family game night where we all actually have to PLAY a game of some sort! This game was $39.99, now only $19.99.
#6 – TCL 55″ 4K TV
Of course, my holiday shopping wouldn’t be complete without a new TV! I purchased this TV before Black Friday because I was able to get the sale price early so I grabbed it! I wanted to upgrade our 40″ TV and I was so surprised with the clarity of the 4K TV’s! We are a streaming family so I wanted to make sure that it was a Roku TV as well. I am so excited to hook this baby up and start watching my favorite holiday movie (ELF) on it! It normally retails for $499 but I was able to get this one for $379 (minus some gift cards) I think I paid around $350. Good deal!
#7 – Beats Studio Wireless Over the Ear Headphones
My oldest daughter has her tragus pierced so she hasn’t been able to listen to music with earbuds. She finally put some headphones on her Christmas list and when I saw that the Beats Studio Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones were on sale, I have to snag this deal up! They normally retail for $379.99 and I purchased mine for $159.99. AWESOME deal I’d say!
#8 – Kindle Paperwhite
My youngest daughter wants a Kindle Paperwhite so I have been doing my research. It’s tricky and I’m not a fan of Amazon doing this. I discovered that there are two versions of this Kindle Paperwhite. You can get one with special ads or without. I think if you purchase the Kindle, it should not come with ads, but to make that happen, you have to pay extra! So not cool. The Kindle Paperwhite with ads is on sale now for $89.99 and if you want the ads to be removed you have to pay $109.99 (again, on sale). I’m not sure what I am going to do with this one yet, but I know I’ll be buying one. Please chime in if you have a Kindle Paperwhite and let me know if you have ads or no ads!
There you have it! That is what my family will be purchasing this holiday season. Lots and lots of electronic gifts that will be enjoyed by everyone in the family!
