Get ready this is about to BLOW YOUR MIND! This recipe is part yummy and part science experiment– and the kids LOVED IT! If you are having guest over tonight and you don’t have all the ingredients for your cake mix– this is the perfect cobbler. I saw this recipe on Pinterest a while ago and HAD to try it!
What you will need:
- 1 Box White Cake Mix {White}
- 1 Can Sierra Mist about 8 oz
- Frozen Blue Berries and Raspberries {Red, Blue}
- Non-Stick Spray
Step 1: Spray your dish
Step 2: Add FROZEN berries
Step 3: Shake cake mix on top of your berries
Step 4: Slowly pour soda over cake and berries DO NOT STIR
The kids love, love, love step 4 the reaction the soda has to the cake mix–FUN!
Step 5: Bake for 40-45 min at 400*
The kids loved the Red, White and Blue concept, but of course when it’s all good and cooked it’s purple… A Ha! MORE SCIENCE!
