I love coffee. I could say enough said right there, but I’m not, I’ve got more to share. I love coffee abundantly, probably too much. I catch myself spending way too much money at Starbucks {you’re welcome SBUX} and it doesn’t matter the season… I drink coffee year round. I’m a sucker for a Pumpkin Spice Latte, Cinnamon Dulce Latte, and an Iced Carmel Macchiato! So, when my husband made me this awesome Iced Carmel Macchiato (I’m about to share) one night during a terrible thunder storm vs. going to get one, he just solidified that he is the man of my dreams, and I’m keeping him!! After that night I’ve been hooked, I’ve been making my own Iced Carmel Macchiatos and it has saved me some loot.
Is your mouth salivating? Mine is, I’m honestly craving one right now, so I guess after I post this>> it’s coffee time!
Here is what you need:
- Coffee press
- Sauce pan
- Non-metal spoon
- 3 cups of Water
- 6 Scoops of dark roasted strong & bold coffee or espresso
- Almond Milk
- Ice or frozen coffee cubes. Don’t have an ice tray anymore? I used a cake pop mold for my coffee ice
- Torani Carmel Syrup
This is super easy!
- Put 6 scoops of coffee in your Coffee Press
- Boil 3 cups of water, once water is boiled pour over coffee let it steep for 5 minutes.
3. After waiting for the longest five minutes of you life, push down the press SLOWLY!
4. In a thick glass cup add 2-3 squirts of carmel syrup, ice, and enough milk to leave room for you coffee.
5 .Pour your coffee over the carmel syrup, ice, and almond milk, give it a good swirl and DRINK!
If you don’t have a coffee press don’t worry, you can do this in your coffee pot using less water to coffee for a stronger brew.
While I have your attention, I’d like to invite you to the #T2TChat on Twitter Monday July 15th 9:00 am- 10:00 am CST we’ll be talking summer time snacks. Hope to see you there!
