This is my first blog post following the New Year. While I was on winter break (and a month or so prior), I gave this whole blogging thing some thought. I kept going back and forth with what direction I wanted to go in and the type of content I provided you with. I know I just recently went through this and while I enjoy providing material that relates to being a mom to three teenagers I wanted to do more. And, it wasn’t until I saw this quote that I knew what my “more” was; motivation, happiness and the power of positive thinking.
It was staring me right in the face. For the longest time, I struggled with myself trying to think of what I wanted to do with my life. What do I really find passion in? What do I really like to write about? One thing that kept creeping up into my mind was motivation and being there for other people. The feeling of positivity is just one that you cannot explain, but when you genuinely believe in it and its powers, amazing things can happen. I’ve seen it. I’ve experienced it. I have talked about it briefly with friends, on periscope and right here. Why not make this blog about instilling a positive mindset; not only for myself but to others who seek motivation, happiness and the power of positive thinking.

I am looking forward to this new adventure and I am especially excited to share it with you! Of course, I will still be blogging about my three crazy teenagers, being a mom, weight loss, recipes and various products that my family loves at the moment. By adding a level of motivation, happiness and the power of positive thinking, I feel I can do my part of creating a happier world to live in! 🙂
