Who knew making candied bacon was so easy? I made some this weekend for my oh-so-lucky-husband, and it’s official he is even more deeply madly in love with me than ever before 🙂 But wait…there’s more, tomorrow I will share what I did with the candied bacon that made him crazy {in a good crazy way :)}
This is what you will need
- 1LB of thick cut bacon
- About a cup of brown sugar {or more if you like}
- Casserole Dish
- Oven-safe wire rack
- Cookie sheet
- Foil
Candied Bacon
In a large casserole dish add your brown sugar (you can use as much or as little as you like)
One by one coat your bacon making sure to pat brown sugar down on each slice.
Once your bacon is all sugared-up place the bacon on an oven-safe wire rack.
The wire rack should be placed inside a cookie sheet (I lined my cookie sheet with foil)
Cook bacon for about 25-30 minutes at 375*
This is how the bacon should look before you stick it in the oven.
