    DIY Keep In Touch BookMarks

The end of the school year is approaching and I planned a super cute gift for all the kids! I found this fantastic bag topper with alligators and the perfect saying. I contacted my go to cookie lady and ordered 24 alligator shaped cookies. I planned to put them in the bags with the toppers for each child. Then I got a note from my son’s teacher that said NO FOOD, NO CANDY, NO SNACKS for gifts to pass out. WHAT???? NO WAY! That messed up my whole plan! On to plan B.

I knew I wanted alligators and something to say See ya later alligator. 🙂 But, for the rest I had no idea. Then, when I picked up Braden from school he was going on and on about inviting his friends to his party this summer. That’s when it hit me. I wanted to create keep in touch cards for him to pass out to his friends that way he can keep in contact with them over the summer. So, I thought the best way would be to create bookmarks.

I purchased some alligator images off of Etsy from Sugar Studios. Then I created a template for a book mark, added the gator and See Ya Later Alligator on the front. Then on the back I used the same gator and Let’s Keep in Touch and added my email, phone, and address. That way all his friends can keep in touch with him over the summer. 🙂 Plus, its a book mark so will help keep there pages secure during their summer reading.

After I printed each page out on thick card stock, I laminated them at Mardels. Cut them out, punched a hole in them and added ribbon.

Perfect gift to hand out to his friends!
