Vellum Paper – red, white, blue
Scotch tape and scissors.
To Make –
Cut a piece of paper about 4inx3in in size and create a fringe pattern from end to end leaving about 1/2 in of paper in tact at top.
Starting at one end of the uncut section, carefully begin to roll paper as tightly as possible. (will need to fit inside the straw, so needs to be very tightly rolled.)
Gently stick the end of the paper into the top of the straw until the end of the uncut portion of the paper is inserted into the straw. Add a piece of take covering part of the straw and part of the paper for extra support if needed.
Cut a wood skewer to fit just inside the straw. Place inside the opposite end of the straw and place a piece of tape over the end to keep skewer inside. This will give the sparkler extra support.
Bend the paper to give it some sparkle!
Enjoy and have fun!!
