I wasn’t sure exactly how it would work or if it actually would work to this mom skin, but I figured, it couldn’t hurt so why not give it a try. I use it once a week to just give me a little skin boost, a refresher, a little perk me up. At first, I was really nervous only because I didn’t know what exactly to expect, I mean, I’ve never had any type of facial {they usually burn my skin}, so I avoid it and just don’t do them. So, I’m not going to lie, yes, I was terrified that I’d wake up and find my skin burned off or something, but I’m still here, face intact and all so I assure you, my skin did not burn off. In fact, it was quite the opposite in results. It is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten-free, and GMO-free…which could explain why I didn’t have any adverse reactions! 🙂
I tied my hair back, washed my face using one of my favorite face care products {you can read about that here}, and once my skin was freshly washed, toned, lotioned and dried, I put a small amount of the derma e overnight peel {only on one side of my face…again for fear of what I’d wake up to and for comparison purposes}. I did take photos, but unfortunately, the lighting didn’t do them justice. I may update a bit later with a more recent photo, but until then, just know that even after one use, I did feel that my skin was softer to the touch. After a few more weeks {using it just once a week}, I did notice that it made me look, I don’t want to necessarily say younger, fresher maybe, only because you can totally tell in my sleep deprived eyes, that young does not really describe my current parenting status.
