Lip Monthly – Product Review

Lip Monthly Subscription Box

There are all different types of monthly subscription services out there however,  we were very happy to be able to give Lip Monthly a test!

Here’s a little information about the Lip Monthly subscription service. For only $10 a month you are sent a sampling of lip related products and one monthly mix up product that is a non-lip related product, but one you wouldn’t mind receiving, every single month!!

You will receive full-size products from well-known brands and maybe even some you haven’t heard of, but should know about. It’s like receiving a little bit of lip heaven every month…right to your door!

Our sampling that was provided for the purpose of our review consisted of the following:

The Ofra “Nude” Lipliner {$13} is perfect for lining lips for lipstick or any type of chapstick or gloss.  Also included was the Crown Lip Brush {$3} that makes applying lipstick and glosses quickly and effectively!  {I love a good lip brush!}

I offered this color to my daughter who prefers a more reddish-pink lipstick where I prefer the natural shades.   She fell in love with the Hikari Lipstick {$13} and it really looks good on her.  Then again, she’s 16 and everything looks good on her! 🙂  It looks a little more red in the photo than it actually is.

I loved the NCY Expert Last Lipstick in Purple Crush {$1.99}.  It’s more of a pink/purple color with a little bit of a silver undertone to it.   Being in the Midwest, I think I will hang on to this one and wear it in the summer when I’m sporting a nice tan!  Can’t wait for warm weather!

And lastly, the Monthly Mixup product {or MMU as it’s properly called} provided by Lip Monthly was the City Color Cosmetics White Gold Shadow & Highlight Mousse {$4}.  Yes, my daughter took that too!  I loved it!  I love anything that has a little sparkle to it!

Oh, before I forget to mention, all the products you see came in the super cute make up bag as shown in the very first photo.  Yes, that went to my daughter too!  In any event, we enjoyed sharing our love for different make up products and it was also nice because it gave us a few moments to chat and bond over them…before she took half of it.  The monthly subscription service that only costs $10 a month provided us with $34.99 {retail value} worth of products!  If you love learning about different types of lip products and love a good surprise, then this subscription service is perfect for you!
