With the election just about two weeks away, your children might want to know what’s going on with all this political mumbo jumbo they’ve been hearing both at home and at school. Everyone seems to be talking about it in one way or another. Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, learning about presidential history is extremely important. It helps kids to understand where things were…and where they are going. As we all know too, the best way for kids to learn is through play.
The Basher’s Presidential app offers students a way to learn the order of the presidents by playing a game, as well as discovering secrets and facts about each president. Kids will also find out more about American history and the role each presidents play in our nations history.
My daughter (who is 8) is very interested in this election. She loves to play the Presidential Challenge. This game has 3 levels, House, Senate and Oval Office. Each one times how long it takes you to complete the level. You have to get the Presidents in the order in which they served office. Each level gets a little harder. It never gets boring or old.
While connected to the internet, your child can securely and anonymously vote for their favorite candidate. They will also see who is currently in the lead after they cast their vote. Even though it’s just a “kids” vote, to see my child get excited to take part is all I could want. I love when kids show interest in the election and I think the earlier they get involved, the better it will be for them when they are 18 and really have the opportunity to voice their opinion.
Let your kids (ages 4+) learn and explore with the Basher’s Presidents app. The app is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod and can be done so for $1.99 on iTunes.
